6th & 7th November 2021 - Pop-Up Farm Shop

Join us in our pop up farm shop for a delicious local produce platter, a glass of Precious Little Wines and some fabulous wide open spaces and country tranquility.  We will be open Saturday and Sunday from 11am - 4pm, and have our Christmas giftboxing ready for you to get organised for the festive season.

20th November 2021 - Willunga Farmer's Market 8am - 12pm

Mel will once again be heading to the Willunga Farmer's Market for the third Saturday of the month to present shoppers with our range of extra virgin olive oils, including our Double Gold Medal Winning 2021 Peninsula Providore Reserve Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and our silver medal winning Garlic Flavoured Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

BowerBird Market - 26th - 28th November 2021

We will once again be presenting our products at the upcoming Bowerbird Market at Wayville Showground.  A fantastic way to shop local, and support small businesses, you could complete your Christmas Shopping easily at this fabulous market.  We hope to see you there!

3rd December 2021 - Friday 6pm - 9pm Wreathmaking Worshop

Join Grace from Basil & Myrtle and Mel from Peninsula Providore for an evening of Earth Friendly Wreath making, wine and delicious food.

Learn all the tips and tricks of festive wreath making with Adelaide florist and artist Grace from Basil & Myrtle.

In this workshop you will receive all the materials and guidance to make your very own fresh or dried wreath to take home. Your wreath will be made without the use of any nasty floral foam or plastic adornments. Instead, you will have a huge array of gorgeous Australian grown flowers and foliages, all selected to dry beautifully over time.

On arrival you will receive a complimentary glass of wine from local Precious Little Wines.  We will also have a delicious selection of gourmet platters available for purchase as well as a huge array of giftpacks to get your Christmas shopping and Kris Kringle gifts sorted.

Forget Tuscany - this four-course Fleurieu Peninsula feast promises the

same tranquil atmosphere.

Join Peninsula Providore and Precious Little Wines for a regional produce

-inspired long lunch at the Nangkita Olive Grove. Oil maker Mel Hollick and

winemaker Marty O'Flaherty will take you through a seasonally inspired

local produce menu that will be complemented by selections from Precious

Little Wines.

The day's offering will be curated by Kuti Shack from Goolwa, with dishes to

be prepared in front of guests on the Peninsula Providore Schwenker grill.

You'll learn about star local ingredients directly from those who work with

them each day.

If the weather is kind a grove and olive mill walking tour may be included in

the afternoon's activities. Whatever the conditions, a cosy afternoon of

culinary discovery awaits.

Wreath Making Workshop

Join florist Grace from Basil and Myrtle for a festive wreath workshop using local flowers, adornments and festive foliage. Create a masterpiece to hang on your door or to decorate your table for the festive season.
Using a natural base of vines you’ll learn how to make your wreath using naturally dried and fresh flowers and foliage that are carefully selected to dry beautifully and keep for years to come. Along with a selection of natural ribbons and hessians to use also.
No experience is necessary and all materials are supplied. Each guest will make their own wreath and receive florist snips to take home, along with a glass of Precious Little Wine on arrival.  Platters and Wine available for purchase on the night.

We will be opening our door's once again for the first weekends of the month,  11am - 4pm for tastings and sales of our Extra Virgin Olive Oil and other products.  Drop by for a regional platter, or a tasting platter and enjoy the surrounds of our Nangkita Olive Grove along with wine by Precious Little. 

Father's Day Zucchini Fritters

2 medium zucchini’s grated and water squeezed out in tea towel
Sprinkle of kale slaw mix
1/4 cup gluten free plain flour
3 tablespoons grated Parmesan
Mix in bowl

In another bowl beat
2 eggs
About 8 grinds of black pepper
1 teaspoon Peninsula Providore Garlic and Herb Salt
Then mix all together and fry small batches off in Peninsula Providore Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

For an added kick, I added some chilli flakes to the last batch for me! It was great!

I served with sliced avocado and The Gourmet Entertainer Nigella Kasundi Relish and Greek natural yoghurt.

Visit the Kimbolton Wines - Langhorne Creek stand to sample and taste the latest Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Peninsula Providore along with their Dukkah.

Langhorne Creek Wine Tasting at The Ed, Mitcham

Peninsula Providore is delighted to be joining the Langhorne Creek winemakers in the gardens at The Ed, High Street Mitcham on Saturday 13th October 2018 from 2pm - 5pm.  We will be selling dukkah platters complemented by our award winning Extra Virgin Olive Oil and bread from The Hungry Caterpillar.  Mel will also be releasing the 2018 Peninsula Providore Extra Virgin Olive Oil that won a silver medal at last week's Fleurieu Food Olive Awards, and our home made dukkah. It promises to be a fabulous afternoon so drop by!

Peninsula Providore Extra Virgin Olive Oil Awarded Medal

Peninsula Providore were delighted to be awarded a Bronze Medal at the Fleurieu Olive Awards late in 2017 for their first commercial release of Australian Extra Virgin Olive Oil.  Mel Hollick stated "It was a delight to find out we are on the right track and all the hours of hard work are finally paying off.  We look forward to sharing our EVOO with many customers going forwards."​​

Cellar Door Festival March 2nd - 4th, Adelaide Convention Centre

​Peninsula Providore were excited to present their award winning Australian Extra Virgin Olive Oil at the recently held Cellar Door Festival. There customers were able to try our EVOO alongside award winning  Langhorne Creek wines from Kimbolton Wines and sensational bread from Small World Bakery, also from Langhorne Creek.  Mel's day job is Sales and Marketing manger for Kimbolton Wines, and it is a delight to showcase our Extra Virgin Olive Oil alongside such sensational Langhorne Creek produce.
