Tasting Australia - Harvest Lunch & Community Olive Oil Project

Saturday 6th May 2023 - bookings required.

Join us for an unforgettable Harvest Lunch on Saturday 6th May, as part of the Tasting Australia festival, at Peninsula Providore. Immerse yourself in the rich and diverse flavours of the region, and experience the true essence of local produce.

This year, we're excited to offer visitors a unique opportunity to participate in the Community Olive Oil Project, where we process small parcels of your fruit alongside other micro growers to create a delicious Community Extra Virgin Olive Oil blend. This is a wonderful opportunity to be a part of the local community and contribute to the creation of a unique blend of olive oil.

Please note that to participate in the Community Olive Oil Project, there are some terms and conditions. We can only accept fruit that meets the following requirements: it must be harvested on or after 5th May 2023 unbruised and without any signs of disease or insect damage. Fruit must be delivered to our processing facility on the day of harvest, and participants must agree to their fruit being processed along with everyone else who is participating.  Full Terms and conditions and bookings will be made once you have booked in for the harvest lunch.

Willunga Farmer's Market - Saturday 18th March- 8am - 12pm

Mel will once again be heading to the Willunga Farmer's Market for the third Saturday of the month to present shoppers with our range of extra virgin olive oils, including our Double Gold Medal Winning 2022 Peninsula Providore Reserve Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and our silver medal winning Garlic Flavoured Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

We will once again be presenting our products at the upcoming Bowerbird Market at Adelaide Showground.  A fantastic way to shop local, and support small businesses, you could complete your Christmas Shopping easily at this fabulous market.  We hope to see you there!

South Australian Olive Festival - Wrap Up

This year’s Olive Festival saw attendees enjoy grazing boxes featuring local produce, a couple of wines in the grove and the chance to taste local products. The Gala Dinner catered by Sprout Cooking School & Health Studio was a fabulous hit too.

​

A special thanks go to the local businesses that created a great experience at The 2022 Olive Festival. Peninsula Providore Extra Virgin Olive Oil Awarded Medal

Peninsula Providore were delighted to be awarded a Bronze Medal at the Fleurieu Olive Awards late in 2017 for their first commercial release of Australian Extra Virgin Olive Oil.  Mel Hollick stated "It was a delight to find out we are on the right track and all the hours of hard work are finally paying off.  We look forward to sharing our EVOO with many customers going forwards."​​
